Julia founded VOA Global Mobility in 2019 to put her skills at the service of those who, like her, are driven to build their lives beyond their native borders.
She has travelled in more than 20 countries and lived in six of them, France, Ireland, Brazil and the United Kingdom among others. Each of those moves taught her something a file never shows: what a relocation actually asks of the person going through it.

With a background in comparative law and private international law, Julia knows that every country comes with its own legal system. So wherever you are headed, VOA works with lawyers who practise in that country every day, and your file is built to hold up under their rules.

She works in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese, and advises clients from all over the world.

2019

Meet Julia

Julia Guillerme, founder of VOA Global Mobility

Julia founded VOA from Ireland in September 2019, with a legal training behind her and a life already built across borders.

Having navigated her own relocations through France, Ireland, Brazil and the United Kingdom, she knows relocation from both sides of the desk: the ambition that drives a move abroad, and the administrative reality that can stall it. She built VOA on that double view of the process, the client's and the counsel's.

Before welcoming her first clients, she devoted a full year to learning the legal and practical machinery of international relocation: visa frameworks, residency pathways, the unwritten rules that determine whether a file moves forward or sits still. That year of groundwork still sets the standard for how we prepare a file today, in every destination we cover.

2020

Growth as a team

In March 2020, VOA became a team.

What began as support for individuals quickly outgrew its original scope, less by design than by demand. Clients arrived through word of mouth, each with a different destination, a different profession, a different life to build. Rather than turn them away, we studied each new system until we could run a file through it properly.

Within months we were handling relocations to France, Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom as well as Brazil, which is where our multi-destination practice comes from.

Mathieu Lelièvre

Legal & Executive Assistant

Originally trained as an engineer, Mathieu brought a rigorous and structured approach to his transition into law, and he now works as a legal assistant, supporting the VOA team on all legal matters related to international relocation.

He has travelled widely himself and knows what building a life abroad asks of people. Based in Paris, he is the person most clients speak to day to day, whether the question is legal or simply practical.

He works in French and English, and stays on the file from the first conversation to the last step of the move.

Assessment & proposal

We define the exact scope, documents and realistic timeline for your case, and put the full fee in writing before signature. The fee you sign is the fee you pay.

File preparation

We draft, proofread and assemble your complete application with vetted local lawyers in your destination. We coordinate the sworn translations, book the appointments and brief you before every step.

Submission & follow-up

We submit your file, liaise directly with the authorities and follow your case proactively to decision, with regular progress updates and six months of aftercare once your move is delivered.
