Spain is our lifestyle-driven portfolio: remote professionals, retirees, qualified employees and families who want the move handled properly the first time. We prepare and file Spanish immigration applications end to end (consular filings and in-country applications to the UGE-CE alike) working with vetted local lawyers at every step. Here is the full scope of what we handle in Spain.
Spain visa and residence routes
Digital Nomad Visa (teletrabajador de carácter internacional)
Spain's digital nomad route, created by the Startup Act, is for remote employees and freelancers working for companies and clients outside Spain. Qualification requires either a relevant degree or three years of professional experience, an employment or client relationship of real substance, and remote income around the published threshold (roughly twice the Spanish minimum wage). Applied for from inside Spain through the UGE-CE, it grants an initial three-year residence card, one of the most generous first permits in Europe; applied for at a consulate, a one-year visa convertible after arrival. We choose the right path for your situation, build the employment and income evidence the UGE expects, and coordinate the tax election with local counsel.
Non-Lucrative Visa
For retirees and the financially independent who want to live in Spain without working there: passive income or savings around the published threshold (based on the IPREM index), full private health cover, and a genuine intention not to work, including remotely. Choosing correctly between non-lucrative and digital nomad at the outset is the single most consequential decision on the Spanish lifestyle routes, and it is where our consultation earns its keep.
Highly Qualified Professional (HQP)
The fast employer-sponsored route for senior and specialist roles with a Spanish employer, processed through the UGE-CE on short statutory timescales. We manage the employee's side (and the family's) while the employer manages the contract.
Job-Seeker Visa
For recent graduates and qualified professionals coming to Spain to find employment: a residence period dedicated to the search, convertible once an offer lands. We prepare the file and plan the conversion from day one, so the offer, when it comes, has somewhere to go.
Spouse and dependents
Partners and children join the main applicant, ideally filed together. We prepare the family file as one coherent whole: civil-status documents apostilled and sworn-translated, resources scaled to family size, and every application telling the same story.
Spanish citizenship
Naturalisation by residence
The general rule is ten years of legal residence, but nationals of Ibero-American countries qualify after just two years, and spouses of Spanish citizens after one. For our Brazilian and Latin American clients this is one of the fastest paths to an EU passport that exists, and we plan it into the residence strategy from the first permit: DELE/CCSE exams, continuity of residence, and a complete file when the window opens.
Landing in Spain
We guide you through the first practical steps your new status requires (NIE and TIE formalities and empadronamiento) working with trusted local teams so your first weeks in Spain are spent living, not queuing. Tax advice itself stays with trusted referred Spanish specialists; we coordinate the immigration side with them.
How we work in Spain
Every engagement starts with an Initial Consultation with our founder: route confirmed, top risks identified, written verdict. Scope and fee are agreed in writing before signature (the fee you sign is the fee you pay) then we prepare and file with vetted local lawyers, follow your case to decision, and stay with you through six months of aftercare. Frequently asked questions
Should I apply at the consulate or from inside Spain?
Both paths exist for several routes and they differ in timing, evidence and the permit you receive, in-country applications to the UGE-CE can lead to a three-year initial card instead of one. The right choice depends on where you are and how fast you need to move; it is the first thing we settle.
Can I work on a non-lucrative visa?
No, the non-lucrative route excludes work in Spain, including remote work. If you work for foreign clients, the digital nomad route is usually the honest fit, and choosing correctly at the start avoids painful renewals later.
What about taxes and the Beckham regime?
Residence decisions and tax decisions must be made together, but we do not give tax advice. We work alongside trusted Spanish tax specialists and coordinate the immigration side with them.
How fast can Brazilians get Spanish citizenship?
Nationals of Ibero-American countries can apply for naturalisation after two years of legal residence in Spain, among the fastest routes to EU citizenship anywhere. The residence has to be built correctly from the first permit onwards, which is why we plan citizenship into the strategy from day one.
