France

France rewards well-built files and punishes improvised ones. With a founder trained in French law at Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and a network of vetted local lawyers, we prepare French visa, residence and nationality files the way the administration expects to read them: complete, consistent and properly evidenced. Here is the full scope of what we handle in France.

France visa and residence routes

Talent card (carte de séjour « talent »)

The premium multi-year route (heir to the passeport talent) covering researchers and academics (with a hôte convention), artists and performers, qualified employees, entrepreneurs and investors in a single permit of up to four years, with family members receiving residence alongside the main applicant. The category you file under changes everything: the evidence, the thresholds, the renewal path. We select the right category, build the qualifying case and prepare the complete file, not just the form.

Entrepreneur / profession libérale

For founders and independent professionals establishing a real, viable activity in France. The administration examines the substance of the project (business plan, financing, qualifications), and so do we, before filing: a project that convinces us is a project ready to convince the préfecture.

Visiteur: long stay for the financially independent

The long-stay route for retirees and the financially independent who want to live in France without working there: demonstrable stable resources, health cover, and an undertaking not to work. Simple in principle, unforgiving on evidence. We prepare it so the consulate says yes the first time.

Spouse, family and family reunification

Long-stay visas and residence permits for spouses of French citizens (vie privée et familiale), partners under PACS, and family reunification (regroupement familial) for residents' families. We handle the full sequence (consular filing, VLS-TS validation after arrival, and the renewals that follow) with the relationship evidence built properly from the start.

French citizenship

Citizenship by descent: certificat de nationalité française (CNF)

If you have a French parent or ancestor, French nationality may already be yours, but it must be proven, not assumed. We prepare CNF applications end to end for applicants born abroad: reconstructing the chain of filiation across countries and generations, apostilles and sworn translations, evidence that the family's French nationality never lapsed under the 50-year non-usage rule, and the filing itself with the nationality court in Paris. We also handle refusals: analysing the ground, strengthening the file, and advising honestly whether to refile, contest or pivot to naturalisation. Read our guide to French citizenship by descent and the 50-year rule.

Naturalisation

The complete naturalisation file: residence and integration evidence, the strengthened French-language requirement now in force, tax and civic records, and the assimilation narrative that turns a stack of documents into a case the préfecture can approve. We prepare you for the assimilation interview as seriously as we prepare the file.

Landing in France

Once your status is secured we handle what follows from it: social security registration, company formation or self-employment (micro-entrepreneur) registration where your route requires an activity, and home-finding assistance, with the guarantor and dossier culture of the French rental market navigated for you.

How we work in France

Every engagement starts with an Initial Consultation with our founder: route confirmed, top risks identified, written verdict. Scope and fee are agreed in writing before signature (the fee you sign is the fee you pay) then we prepare and file with vetted local lawyers, follow your case to decision, and stay with you through six months of aftercare. Frequently asked questions

I have a French parent or grandparent: am I already French?

Possibly, but French nationality by descent must be proven through the certificat de nationalité française, and the file turns on civil-status records and the family's use of French nationality over time. We assess eligibility honestly before any application is filed.

What is the 50-year rule?

If neither you nor your French ascendants have used or claimed French nationality for more than fifty years (no passports, no consular registration, no French civil-status acts) nationality can be deemed lost by non-usage (désuétude). It is the most common trap in descent cases, and the reason we start with an eligibility check rather than a promise.

Do I need to validate my long-stay visa after arriving?

Yes. Most long-stay visas (VLS-TS) must be validated online within three months of arrival, and later renewals depend on it having been done correctly. It is one of the small steps our follow-up makes sure never gets missed.

How long does naturalisation take?

Realistically, months to years depending on the préfecture and the completeness of the file. A complete, well-argued file is the main lever you control, and the part we take off your hands.
